Aloe Vera is a young lady who came to The Daily Shower from the Little Havana section of Miami. For those who don't know, Little Havana was first settled en masse by Cuban exiles 40 years ago. Little Havana holds a potent community of proud and outspoken Cubans and Cuban Americans.
Aloe is a potent little thing herself. She designs and sells women's tops made from bathmats. She holds a vocational credit certificate in CAT (Customer Assistance Technology) from M.D.C.C. She's got brains and she's got spunk. She's also got a rather large extended family who will be living with me for the duration of her employment with The Daily Shower.
Our first shower together went off without a hitch. Her shampoo application was nothing short of brilliant. Her lather-to-head ratio was mathematic in precision. Remember, a towel assistant is much more than what the title denotes. A towel assistant is more like an Asian caddie in the LPGA. They must know the course; they must anticipate my next move and, if need be, disagree and make a better suggestion. Case in point: One day, about a year ago, I blindly reached for what I thought was a bottle of Prell shampoo. Pang, one of the best towel assistants I've ever had, saw that I was in fact reaching for a bottle of Pert conditioner. Anticipating my move she switched the two bottles before I could make contact. Needless to say, Pang's heads-up play saved me from unmentionable distress.
I see a little Pang in Aloe. No, really, I do. And it's a pleasant sight.

Looks funnnnnyyyyyyy. I browsed this site just checking who refers/ed files from my old web, and voila found one here. Helloooo, we do know netiquette, don't we? Np, actually, as the link is already dead almost a year ago. But, that's still not funny knowing your friends' photo linked like that
