Wetting Bells
Over the weekend I had the pleasure of marrying a lovely young couple, Mr. & Mrs. Austin Gerber. The couple met during The Never Fail Sail, one of The Daily Shower's singles cruises.
(Reminder! The deadline for the Cruising for Love Alaskan getaway is July 15th!)
The Gerbers wanted to show their gratitude and asked me to preside over their wedding (me being an ordained Methodist minister and all.) After consulting with The Daily Shower's lawyers, I agreed but with one stipulation. My name must be added to the prenuptial agreement. I'm putting The Daily Shower stamp of approval on this union. If things fall apart I believe it's only fair that I be compensated monetarily for the damage done to our reputation. It took some negotiating but we worked things out. And boy am I glad we did! What a wonderful ceremony we had! Music and food. (I'm still cleaning the rice out of the drain!)
With any luck they'll return to the shapel (shower + chapel = shapel) for their future weddings.
My wife Norma and I would like to thank you Pastor Marc. The Shapel of Love is everything we could wish for in a very intimate wedding scene. Everything went off without a hitch except when my best man, Billy Williams, got his foot stuck in the toilet trying to get that over-the-top photo op. And luckily we were in a bathroom considering how drunk the bridesmaids were. As for our honeymoon plans, we are going to travel the country in search of the hottest tourist attractions people like us can afford, "The Largest Toilet in the World" Thanks again Pastor.
Sincerely The Gerbers
